Cookie Policy

How we use cookies and similar technologies on inhautecouture — and how you stay in control of them.

Last updated: 29 July 2026

1. Cookies, in plain terms

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — pixels, tags, local storage and SDKs — work in comparable ways. Together we call them cookies. They let the site function, remember your choices, help us understand how the store is used, and — where you allow it — measure and personalise marketing.

2. Your consent and our legal basis

If you visit from the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we set only strictly necessary cookies by default. All other cookies — analytics, preferences and marketing — are placed only after you opt in through our cookie banner, in line with the EU ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR. You can accept all, reject all, or choose by category, and you can change your mind at any time (see section 6). Our advertising and analytics partners operate under Google Consent Mode v2 and equivalent controls, so tags respect your choice before any non-essential data is collected.

3. The categories we use

Strictly necessary — always on. Security, the shopping cart, checkout, payment routing and load balancing. These cannot be switched off.

Preferences / functional — optional. Remember choices such as your display currency, size selections, language and wishlist.

Analytics / performance — optional. Help us understand which pieces and pages resonate and where to improve. Data is aggregated and never used to make decisions about you individually.

Marketing / advertising — optional. Let us measure campaigns and show you relevant designs on other platforms.

4. The services behind these cookies

This list is reviewed regularly and may change as we add or remove services. Each provider processes data under its own privacy notice.

5. How long cookies last

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a set period — typically from a few days up to 24 months. Analytics and marketing identifiers generally expire within 13 months in the EEA/UK unless you clear them or withdraw consent sooner.

6. Managing or withdrawing your consent

You can change your choices at any time:

— Use the button below to reopen your cookie preferences.

— Adjust or clear cookies through your browser settings.

— Opt out of specific analytics or advertising via Google (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) and your Meta ad preferences.

Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you did so, and strictly necessary cookies remain active so the store keeps working.

7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Where required, we honour recognised browser signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends one, we treat it as a request to decline non-essential cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, the services we use, or the law. The last updated date above shows the current version. Material changes will be reflected in the banner so you can review your choices.
