Returns, Exchanges & Your Right of Withdrawal

We want you to love every InHauteCouture piece. If something isn't right, here is exactly where you stand under EU consumer law. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Your 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you (or a third party you name, other than the carrier) take physical possession of the goods; for an order of multiple items delivered separately, from the day you receive the last item.

To exercise this right you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (for example, an email or a letter). You may use our model withdrawal form, but this is not obligatory. To meet the deadline it is sufficient to send your communication before the 14-day period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (except any supplementary costs arising from your choice of a delivery type other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision. We will use the same means of payment you used, and you will not incur any fees for the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied proof of return, whichever is earliest.

Returning the goods

You must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you communicate your withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods — please try pieces on with care, keep tags attached and do not remove any hygiene seals.

Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made to your specifications or clearly personalised — this includes pieces altered to your measurements through our complimentary alterations service. Where you request alterations we will make this clear before you confirm your order; standard, un-altered pieces remain fully returnable.

Your 2-year legal guarantee

Separately from the right of withdrawal, EU law gives you a legal guarantee of conformity: goods must conform to the contract for two years from delivery. If an item is defective or not as described, you are entitled to have it brought into conformity free of charge (repair or replacement) or, where appropriate, to a proportionate price reduction or a refund, in line with Directive (EU) 2019/771. This guarantee is provided at no cost and is in addition to any commercial guarantee.

Faulty or incorrect items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, contact us and we will arrange a free return and a repair, replacement or refund. Please include your order number and a photograph where possible.

How to start a return

Email our client care team at [client care email] with your order number and we will confirm the return address and next steps. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
