Duties & Taxes — How Our Pricing Works
The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Nothing arrives at your door with a customs bill attached.
What “landed price” means
Because our atelier ships internationally, your order may cross a customs border on its way to you. Rather than leaving import duties and VAT for the courier to collect on your doorstep, we calculate them at checkout and include them in your total. This is often called DDP — Delivered Duty Paid.
What your total includes
- The piece — the price shown on the product page
- VAT — the value-added tax applicable in your country, shown before you pay
- Import duties — where applicable, calculated and collected at checkout
- Delivery — shown as its own line before you confirm your order
What this means for you
No courier hand-over fees, no customs invoices weeks later, no doorstep surprises. If a courier ever asks you to pay an import charge on an InHauteCouture order, do not pay it — contact us at [client care email] and we will resolve it directly.
Returns and duties
If you withdraw from your purchase within the 14-day period, we refund the price of the goods including the taxes you paid at checkout, per our Returns & Withdrawal policy.
